County announces additional steps

Home Virus County announces additional steps
From the Hoke County manager:

Hoke County Government will be implementing additional steps to limit the exposure of our staff and citizens to COVID-19 and other infections. Our main priority is the safety and security of our Community; therefore, the following measures will be implemented beginning Monday March 23, 2020:

Hoke County Government services will operate with the following restrictions. County Employees will continue to work practicing social distancing. All County Buildings will be closed to the Public with access by the public by appointment only. Contact methods will be placed on readyhoke.org and designated signs will be placed on all buildings that are affected. Events planned for Hoke County Facilities will follow the governor’s mandatory rule of canceling all events with over 100 persons. This is subject to change based on future updates by Federal/State or Local Government Officials.

These preventative measures will be in place until further notice, while we assess the situation and are provided guidance from Federal, State and Local agencies.
