The board of directors of the Raeford-Hoke Chamber of Commerce has named Raeford native Elizabeth McNeill executive director.

After growing up in Raeford, McNeill says she is excited to give back to the community and learn more about what Hoke County and Raeford have to offer its residents and visitors. Having previously worked at the Carolina Horse Park, she brings a wealth of knowledge and new, exciting community development initiatives, the board directors said in a statement.

“We look forward to seeing what Liz will bring to the role and the community at large moving forward. Please join us in welcoming Liz!” the Chamber of Commerce board said in a statement.

Former executive director Jackie Lynch served the organization for many years before retiring from the position.
