The Hoke County Parks and Recreation Department opened youth basketball registration October 5 and will continue to hold sign-ups until December 7.
Hoke’s public parks are currently open to the community, but the department is asking people to practice social distancing and follow other safety guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The county’s community buildings remain closed for now, according to an update on the county website.
Individuals visiting the county’s Parks and Recreation Department office on East Central Avenue should wear a mask.
