To the Editor:
When the deputy’s car with flashing lights pulled into Braylen McNeill’s yard, he was afraid until he heard “Happy Birthday Braylen” from Mee Maw and PaPa. The five-year-old was then at ease and was greeted by two fine friendly officers. Braylen was allowed to see in the car and was presented books and pencils. Both officer McInnis and Thompson were great, and Braylen was granted an opportunity to take pictures with them both.
Thank you Lt. Clark, Deputy Chief Newton, Deputy Clerk White. Our prayers are continuing for Sheriff Peterkin and your super staff. Thanks again for adding a special smile on our grandson Braylen’s 5th birthday. May God continue to bless and cover you all and your family.
