Raeford resident Wendell Young was presented a Quilt of Valor, honoring his military service. The quilt was made by the Raeford United Methodist Quilting Group, and includes an inscription that reads, “Patriot Star Quilt of Valor presented to Wendell Young with love an appreciation for your service to our country, RUMW Quilting Group, August 2020.” (Contributed photo)
