From the Raeford-Hoke Chamber of Commerce: Join the Carolina Horse Park on Thursday, October 29th at 5:30pm for an interactive bat experience led by Becky Skiba of the NC Wildlife Resources Commission! Learn about their habitats, community, patterns, and conservation. You’ll even be able to listen to bat calls using a state of the art Bat Acoustic Detector. This program is free to the public and all ages are welcome (donations to the park are always appreciated, though!).
Please bring a mask. You will be outdoors for the entirety of the program and will maintain a 6ft. distance between participants.
Participants are eligible for Criteria II credits of NC OEE Environmental Education Certification and school teachers receive CEU credit. Goose Chase app learning missions and independent assignment can add an additional 2 hours of Criteria II credits.
